    • From Naples: take the Circumvesuviana line towards Sorrento and get off at Pompei Scavi – Villa dei Misteri. From the station, the Porta Marina entrance is a few minutes' walk away.
    • From Sorrento: take the Circumvesuviana towards Naples and also get off at Pompei Scavi – Villa dei Misteri.
    • From other cities in Italy: you can reach Naples by train and from there connect to Pompeii.

  • If you arrive at the Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri station, you can walk to the Porta Marina entrance in a few minutes. It is one of the most practical options for those who buy tickets for Pompeii and want to access the archaeological site directly.

    You can also arrive at the Pompei station of Trenitalia, located near the center of the modern city. From there, the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance is approximately a 10-15 minute walk.
